Tameside market traders play a huge role in our local communities across Ashton and Hyde.

At this year’s Tameside Business Awards on Wednesday 14th May, we will be announcing our Market Trader of the Year 2025 - a brand new category to celebrate individual traders who go above and beyond to make our local markets so special for the communities they serve.

Nominate a local market trader who you think goes above and beyond and deserves a special night of recognition and they could receive a complimentary seat plus a guest of their choice at the Tameside Business Awards, to be held on Wednesday 14th May at the Village Hotel, Ashton Moss.

Not only will the winner receive a complimentary place at the awards, but they will get the chance to network with other businesses and receive publicity across social media, the Business Awards website and coverage within the Not Really Here Media group’s portfolio of newspapers including The Tameside Reporter and The Oldham Chronicle.​
